Frequently Ask Question

1. Do you accept review request? 

I'm so sorry, but because I have too many books in the waiting list already, I am unable to accept review requests at this time.

2. How do you process review?

I have a backlog of books to read. Normal working hours are between one and two days based on GMT Indonesia time once I decided to get the book in my hand, but again, this is dependent on my schedule as I also work a regular job outside the home. I will state when I can get it done. No charge is required for my review so please be patient!   

3. Where do you post your review?

I post my review on Goodreads and my personal blog but sometimes in Netgalley or Booksirens as I'm part of member reviewer. My reviews usually a spoiler-free.

4. How do you rate your review?

When an author creates a book and receives feedback from readers, especially from those who enjoy a particular genre, I prefer to view it through their eyes. Then the final point of my personal satisfaction for the entire book. I draw my rate's conclusion from there.

5. Do you have any particular genre?

Oh well I'm not that picky but if have to choose I like Historical Fiction, Romance and Mystery & Thriller.

6. What Will Happen If I Accept Your Book For Review?

Please be aware, before contacting me with a review request, that I cannot promise that I will read or post about a book right away after accepting or getting it. I have a long list of books I want to read and a very hectic schedule as well. I'll do everything in my power to read and review everything as soon as possible, but it's not always possible.

If the book is an ARC, I'll try to post the review on Goodreads a week or so before the release date so that my readers there are aware of the book I just finished reading (again, depending on when you want me to start posting it). When the publication date has passed or after, I'll put it on my website.

While I make an effort to read and review books with an open mind, if for some reason I decide not to finish the requested book, I will send the requester an email to let them know.

In the event that I don't feel comfortable reviewing your book, I also reserve the right to NOT write a review.

7. What if I didn't enjoy your book?

All of my reviews will reflect my sincere opinions, and it's possible that I won't like your book. If that's the case, it will be made very apparent in my review. Do not assume that just because you sent me the book, I will give it a positive review.

I might not be the best person to send a request for a review to if you are uncomfortable with the possibility of a critical opinion being expressed.

By requesting a review from me, you acknowledge that it might be unfavorable but still courteous. In return, I would appreciate a gracious and non-defensive response.

8. What else are you open to, besides reviews?

Currently, I only accept requests for reviews because when I started this blog, I wanted to share the books I had read and my thoughts on them.

9. Why do you blog review about books?

As I previously mentioned in my "about" section, I would love to share what I read in the hopes that everyone may find the books they are seeking for and be inspired by them as each book has its own distinctive quote.

10. Do you think is there such a bad book?

This is a difficult issue, but I really believe that there is no such thing as a poor book. Instead, each person has their own preferences and market.
