My Review

This was incredibly beautiful and moving. Although heartbreaking, it was bright. An impactful book given its size.

In a sweet, perceptive, and totally painful novella, the conversations between a young child and his grandfather, who has dementia and is rapidly forgetting him, are depicted.

Absolutely beautiful and organic. So simple, yet so profound. a story about grief. A story about loss. But it's also a tale about love, life, and the individuals and occasions that add meaning to each passing day.

This short story is really somber and dismal. Of course, it was quite touching and was a great reminder to make space and time for precious memories to be created.

I can only hope and wish that everyone could have a family like the one described in this tale, one that is prepared to help a family member who is leaving the group not physically but emotionally. simply to understand, accept, and love.

My ratings score:

★ Memorable! Despite its shortcomings, this book was incredible and taught us a lot.

★ Good work! Nothing particularly remarkable, but still nice.

★ Meh... Mediocre with great room for improvement.

★ Extremely Poor.
