The Summary

A fictional connection between two scientists and the irresistible pull of desire combine, upending one woman's carefully studied views on love.

Third-year Ph.D. student Olive Smith doesn't believe in long-term love partnerships, but her closest friend Ahn does, which is how she ended up in this scenario. When Olive unintentionally kisses a stranger one night, it turns out to be Dr. Adam Carlsen. Despite being a young academic rock star, he is also quite cutthroat and hypercritical, which will damage her research career.

Olive had no choice but to explain the issue and urge Dr. Adam Carlsen to make up his date. Olive had high hopes that Dr. Adam Carlsen would have flatly rejected it, but she received the opposite response.

Dr. Adam Carlsen approves of their fictitious relationship and determines what they are allowed to do and get.

What happens in Olive and Dr. Adam's narrative after that? What will her closest pal think about this relationship? And what if a Stanford learns about this fictitious relationship?

My Review

As far as reading goes, this romance is incredibly lovely and adorable. Everyone in this pair has fantastic chemistry, and the writing is excellent. I completely understand when we sometimes have our own fantasies of meeting or kissing a stranger, falling in love, and living happily ever after.

I must say that this is not a high level love story, but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a light romance without worrying about any theories and who wants to unwind by reading.
