The Summary
A pilot who has crashed in the Sahara Desert meets the mysterious young kid who identifies as the Little Prince. The Little Prince arrived there after leaving his home on a lone, far-off asteroids with just a single rose. The narrative that comes next is a stunning and occasionally devastating reflection on human nature.
Richard Howard's translation of this renowned classic, which brings the English text as closely to the French as possible in language, style, and spirit, is one of the best-selling and most widely translated books of all time. It is adored by both children and adults around the world. The artwork in this special edition has been meticulously restored to resemble the original artwork by Saint-Exupéry in both color and detail.
My Review
The major message of The Little Prince is the value of digging deeper to discover the reality and genuine significance of things.
For the purposes of this tale, it is true that as we get older, we tend to take life more seriously and constantly have to consider important issues such as societal pressures, economic considerations, and so forth.
While still children, they are only interested in having fun, despite the fact that most people find it absurd and meaningless. However, for them, those seemingly insignificant things generate delight, which most of us find repulsive as adults.
The key takeaway from this is that this book teaches us how to be more at ease and less serious when necessary, as well as what freedom really means and how to feel at ease in our own skin. Your enjoyment will come from the tiniest things you never considered during your adult life when you find your own freedom.
My ratings score:
