My Review

Considering that this is the author's debut novel, I found it to be a lot of fun to read. I believe the author did a fantastic job. I was quite shocked at how everything came together! It also focuses on delicate issues relating to physical and mental health, such as selective mutism and endometriosis.

The story of Henry Turner and Lucy Gold's aircraft encounter initially reads like a modern fairy tale or a prospective rom-com, but it soon develops into something wholly own. I feel things everywhere.

Lucy is dealing with a chronic, crippling illness. I ached for Lucy every time she battled pain and heartache. I've occasionally wanted to choke Lucy for some of her choices, but I must remember that she is cautious about letting people in for a reason. She was very loyal to herself. In the interim, Henry works as a musician and songwriter. Henry finds it hard to talk to strangers because of his anxiety. He and Lucy get along right away, and she aids in his self-discovery.

Both of these characters felt very real thanks to the plot that showed how two flawed people might get along. Everything and everyone is flawed. This story made clear that we were in charge of our own fate.

I cherished the book's continuous, magnificent melodic flow in terms of how touching it was. Music played a big part without ever being overwhelming or invasive. Everything was placed perfectly! What more could you want, especially if it's in Malibu?

I was pleased that this narrative was portrayed as a romantic comedy. There are a few minor hiccups, but nothing significant. I'm eager to read the author's upcoming book!

I would like to express my sincere thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for sending me an advance copy of this debut novel in exchange for an unbiased review.
