My Review

This book provides everything I wished for for Christmas! This charming holiday fantasy romance was impossible to put down. The premise of rivals turning into lovers has a fascinating twist in this relationship.

The story runs along well, has fantastic characters, a magical Christmas setting that makes me feel merry, and some riddles that are solved successfully. All of the various stories, which are wonderfully interwoven, seem to revolve around the bookstore. There were a number of tiny objects that gave rise to sentiments and emotions, stirred the spirit, and graphically portrayed their particular region of the world.

It's easy for the female lead in these brief, heartwarming Christmas stories to come out as a bit of a wimp, but Cassie was tough without being domineering; she held her own while also being aware of her shortcomings.

The connections between Cassie and Jack were particularly enjoyable, and it was easy to relate to the characters. A little strategically planted ivy helps to create a romantic atmosphere. I'd like to see these characters once more, with a wonderful finish and a happy life forever.

Basically, the entire book was fun to read! Everyone who reads it, regardless of age, should do so! The fantastic collection of short stories to start your holiday season.
