The Summary
Sasha Sexton received the family estate and sole custody of her youngest sister ten years ago. She has a teenager to raise and a hotel to run at the young age of twenty-eight, making her more like Cinderella than Sleeping Beauty. She needs a lottery win, a miracle, or Prince Charming to arrive with a huge... bundle of cash if she wants the hotel to last until Christmas.
Ryan Cooper, her first love, came back, which she had not taken into account. He was the lad next door back then. He is now a well-known singer and songwriter. They were meant to travel to the United States together. Leaving without her, he. He is now back. He allegedly has writer's block. This appears to be a last-ditch effort to find motivation before his record label completely ends the project.
Guess where he wants to remain as well? You may find it in one place, the charming city of Dublin's most fascinating castle hotel.
Pulling this Hollywood Christmas cracker is a desire shared by every woman in the city. everything but her. At all costs, she will stay away from him.
When he's strutting around under her home, radiating heat hot enough to melt every square inch of the snow off the tops of the Dublin mountains, it's easier said than done.
My Review
Just let me mention that I'm thoroughly enjoying it and can't wait to read more from the author. I enjoy the story's plot, which has elements of a modern fairytale.
I was enthralled by Sasha and Ryan's teenage love and couldn't wait to see how it would play out in their adult relationships.
Both Sasha's daily existence in Ireland and Ryan's life after being forced to leave are eloquently detailed in this book. There was no denying the love and attraction between Sasha and Ryan. The spice was superb! The ability of the author to arouse those emotions in the reader is very commendable.
Although I thought the plot surprise was somewhat obvious, I did really admire how the situation was handled. Because the primary characters were all complex and had intriguing backstories, it was much simpler for me to relate to them.
This book has adequate spacing, is easily readable, and is written well. Every emotion was carefully thought out and portrayed in this book, which quickly draws you into the story. the settings and atmosphere the novel creates. What more could you want over the holidays than a beautifully lit Irish castle, a Christmas tree, and all the trimmings?
Without a doubt, this is the perfect Christmas read for cuddling up with a cozy blanket and a cup of hot chocolate. A treasure you must not miss!
Through BookSirens, I received a free copy of this book. These are my own personal opinions, and my review is voluntary.
