The Summary
He is the preacher who is constructing his cabin right next to her, and she is single and expecting! Can Hannah and Luke put aside their differences and find happiness in the end?
Together with her sister, Hannah Fairchild fled from her cruel guardians. They had cohabited in a young neighborhood in the middle of the Kansas plains. Hannah was content with her isolation up until the time a preacher came in next door.
Luke Johnson considers himself to be a preacher; it is more than just his profession. If only he could convince Hannah to stop leaving when she sees him, he would be able to restore her faith.
Can Luke soothe Hannah's anguish from her past when circumstances bring them together and win Hannah over to himself?
My Review
It was wonderful to read this second book in the Walton Valley series. This book tells Hannah's story.
I adored the neighboring matchmaker who recognizes Hannah and Luke's equal reliance on one another. Luke's patience, faith, and belief in Hannah help Hannah realize that she is worthy of love and happiness.
As the story unfolds, you will discover how God shapes Hannah and Luke's narrative by going through it with them. Numerous experiences are in store.
The supporting cast has a great sense of humor. There are some unexpected twists in this tale. It's a sweet romance that really captured my attention. Despite the fact that some of the story's themes may have been overdone a bit, I loved the motivational themes of forgiving others, feeling regret, and the need to accept happiness.
Despite being the second book in the series, you may read this one on its own. I appreciate Booksirens giving me a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own; I was not obligated to write a nice review.
