The Summary

The forty years of Lorna Addams have not been what she had anticipated. She finds it challenging to trust her judgment when it comes to making new acquaintances and dating after a very public shame. If only she could accept what her husband did to her and put it in the past, she might be willing to give love another opportunity when she meets the alluring William Warrick.

How is a humiliated widow with an empty nest meant to continue living her life? It's not like she can somehow have a sixth sense, summon her ex, make him explain why, and provide her with closure. Maybe she can?

My Review

I was immediately moved to tears by this book. Widowed Lorna had experienced the worst case scenario she could have imagined. A few years later, as a single mother, Lorna is rebuilding her life. The story starts from this point on. It's hilarious to see Heather and Vivien interact as new pals.

A great story about magic, friendship, family, and siblings. Three enigmatic rings that link them together send them on a crazy adventure.

The progression of the relationships between the three women and the unexpected discovery of their magic occurred at the ideal pace. Because of how it's paced, you won't feel as like you missed anything important. The characters are so well written that you feel like you know them.

It is a finished novel without any unresolved plot points, cliffhangers, or unnecessary padding to extend its length. Reading this book is quite simple.

Since it was so good, I'll definitely read the next book in the series. At times, reading this can feel eerie.
